About

Rio de Janeiro-based Zuppa Filmes is a production company founded by photographers and video-makers Eduardo Martino and Andrea Testoni.

Andrea and Eduardo met in London in 2003, where they studied photojournalism and documentary photography at the London College of Communication. Over the years, they have done a variety of reporting, filming and photographic coverages for the international media, NGOs and various commercial organizations. In 2015, they launched Zuppa Filmes.  Clients include the BBC, Save The Children, ActionAid, Fairtrade Foundation UK, Oxfam, UNESCO, Amnesty International and the British Council, to name just a few.

Zuppa Filmes makes a variety of audiovisual products for the film and music industries: still photography for movie productions, making of, portraits, album covers and recordings of concerts and shows.

Eduardo is currently a doctoral student in the production engineering program at COPPE-UFRJ, continuing his masters degree in creative media at the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro, exploring narratives with 360 video, virtual reality and spatialised audio, as powerful immersive and interactive tools for storytelling in general, in the consolidation of web3 / metaverse. Eduardo is also part of the network of international photographers and videographers who collaborate with London-based Panos Pictures.
